MEET CHOCOLATIER VALENTINA
Master Chocolatier & Founder · XoCo Love
Born and raised in Medellín, in the heart of Colombia's coffee and cacao country, Valentina grew up surrounded by the intoxicating aroma of roasting cacao. Her obsession with chocolate isn't a career choice — it's a birthright. Inspired by the legacy of her abuela cacaotera, a grandmother whose life was woven into the cacao groves of Antioquia, Valentina turned a family tradition into an artisan revolution.
She founded XoCo Love with a purpose that goes beyond making beautiful chocolate. Her mission is to reconnect people with biodiversity, ancestral memory, and the richness of Colombian territory — one handcrafted flake at a time. Every recipe she develops honors the land, the farmers, and the 5,500-year heritage of Colombian cacao.
Valentina sources exclusively from Antioquia's cacao fino de aroma — a rare classification representing just 5% of global production — prized for its delicate floral and fruity notes. She works directly with family farming communities, ensuring fair prices that sustain both families and forests. For Valentina, chocolate is never just food. It is memory, territory, and love made tangible.

The Cacao of Antioquia
Colombia's finest cacao — rare, aromatic, and the soul of every XoCo Love nuget.
Over 5,500 years ago, the world's first cacao trees grew in the fertile lands of what is now Colombia. Long before chocolate reached Europe, long before it became bars and bonbons and billion-dollar brands, the people of this land understood something sacred about the cacao bean — that it carried flavor, memory, and love.
Today, XoCo Love honors that heritage. We source exclusively from the cacao-growing regions of Antioquia, Colombia — a department whose beans are among the most prized on earth. Every XoCo Love nugets begins here, in the volcanic soil and tropical canopy of the Colombian Andes.
Story authenticity. When XoCo Love says "single-origin Colombian cacao," it means something specific: beans from a specific region, grown by specific families, with a specific flavor profile. This is traceable, verifiable, real.
Community impact. Every kilogram of cacao XoCo Love purchases supports Antioquian farming families directly. Fair prices, long-term relationships, and a shared commitment to organic cultivation ensure that the land that grows our cacao will continue to thrive for generations.
Cultural preservation. By building a global brand around Antioquian cacao, XoCo Love helps preserve the knowledge, traditions, and agricultural practices that might otherwise be lost to commodity markets and industrial farming.

"Every bar I create carries the memory of my abuela's hands sorting cacao beans under the Antioquian sun — and the belief that chocolate can reconnect us to the earth."

The Beans
Fino de aroma cacao gives XoCo Love their distinctive depth
Every XoCo Love bar begins in the cacao groves of Antioquia, where family farmers cultivate organic fino de aroma beans using ancestral agroforestry methods. The beans are fermented, dried, and roasted with care. The chocolate is stone-ground, tempered, and poured by hand. The toppings — every fruit, every flower, every spice — are organic, traceable, and applied one bar at a time.
There are no artificial flavors, no preservatives, no emulsifiers, no soy lecithin, and no refined sugar in any XoCo Love bar. The ingredient list is short enough to read aloud in a single breath. Every element is something your abuela would recognize.
This is chocolate that honors the land it comes from, the hands that made it, and the person who receives it. It is chocolate made with love. That is the promise in every bar — and in the name itself.
